Uitkyk Wine Estate sold

The Paulsen Familiae Foundation holds worldwide investments in both real estate as well as wine and spirits producers and distributors. Their vision is to perpetuate the proud reputation of the wines produced from this Estate.  

The rejuvenation process had already begun in 2018, while under the ownership of Warwick Wine Estate, with a strong focus on vineyard health, and despite the change in ownership of Uitkyk, there will be close collaboration during the transition period, which includes the 2023 harvest.

Warwick CEO Christiane von Arnim is confident that this type of investment is a clear indication of the appeal of South African wine and that it will go a long way in further premiumising the image of the Simonsberg region as the flagship ward of Stellenbosch. 

Uitkyk is sold as a going concern.
