After two years of Covid-19 lockdown restrictions the Trophy Wine Show, now brought to you by Investec, is delighted to host its first social gathering around wine. The 2022 Public Tasting takes place at The Westin Cape Town on Wednesday 24 August from 17h00 to 21h00. Wine lovers will be spoilt for choice with the 152 wines of distinction – the silver, gold and trophy winning wines - on show for tasting.
Highlights will be the Investec Trophy for Best White (Paul Cluver Chardonnay 2020) and Best Red Wines of Show (Glen Carlou Collection Red Blend 2019), the International Judges’ trophy winner (Oldenburg Chardonnay 2021) and The Discovery of the Show (best value wine), the MAN Skaapveld Syrah 2020. The wines of Spier Wine Farm, the Most Successful Producer overall, will undoubtedly be major show draw cards too.
