The ever-popular Pinotage and Biltong Festival is back in 2022 after a 2-year hiatus due to the pandemic, and we couldn't be more excited! We have always believed that showcasing two of SA's best-loved delicacies, Pinotage and biltong, speaks to the hearts and palates of many a South African food and wine lover.
A wide range of biltong products will be paired with specific wines from some of South Africa's top Pinotage producers for each tasting. Guests can taste and buy some of the best Pinotages or have fun with alternative styles of this grape variety such as rosé, bubblies, blends, and even white Pinotage!
The event is family-friendly with live music, food trucks, light meals, and casual seating.
There will be burgers, pizzas, and quick and easy meals. Perdeberg Wines' restaurant will also be open for fest-goers who would like to enjoy a sit-down meal.
Guy Feldman will take care of live entertainment with groovy covers from bands such as Dire Straits, Pink Floyd, The Police and much, much more.
In case the weatherman doesn't play along, we've got you covered! There will be a huge Bedouin tent with ample space for everyone, as well as indoor seating inside the building.
Lastly, don't forget about the purple-and-white dress code. There will be prizes for the best dressed festival goers, so plan your purple and white outfits so long. Think feather boas, top hats, tutus, anything fun and funky!

Tickets include a branded crystal wine glass, a biltong cup and a pairing card for the curated Pinotage and biltong pairings, all Pinotage and biltong pairings, and live music entertainment.
Ticket types
- Regular Tickets - R300 pp - Includes wine glass, all wine and biltong pairings, entrance to the festival, live entertainment, wine and biltong pairing card.
- VIP Tickets - R550 pp - Includes everything in the Regular Tickets, PLUS a glass of bubbly on arrival, dedicated seating area, cheese platter, and dessert.
- Dedicated Driver Tickets - R200 pp - Includes entrance to the festival, live entertainment, a biltong card and all biltong tastings (No wines, no wine glass - these tickets are for Dedicated Drivers who do NOT want to taste wine).
