Fish Hoek Wines was awarded its Fairtrade certificate in 2015.

What is Fairtrade? It's the world's leading ethical certification and aims to improve equality and sustainability in the agricultural sector. For wine, it means that a percentage of the sales from every bottle of Fish Hoek goes directly towards financially aiding farmworkers who help grow our grapes. It also impacts the funding of local schools, encourages female empowerment, and helps develop Western Cape communities.
