Celebrate Braai Day with Middelvlei’s Boerebraai – proudly South African yet so unique

A unique outdoor barbecue experience, their lunches have become an integral part of our South African heritage, taking this social event to the next level. Their resident braai expert prepares your chops, boerewors and chicken kebabs to perfection, as you sit back, relax and sample the superb Middelvlei wines on offer. The enticing aromas of the homemade potbrood and braaibroodjies give you a sneak peek of what lies ahead for your foodie experience, whilst Ben Momberg’s homemade pâté and Ouma Annie’s pumpkin fritters have placed the Middelvlei Boerebraai experience in a league of their own.

Soak up the sunshine and the perfect Cape weather as you sit outside on the sprawling verandah whilst admiring the views. The ample space makes for a safe visit for the entire family with COVID-19 health regulations in place, to ensure a memorable experience.

To celebrate Heritage Day, the Boerebraai lunch, which is currently only available over weekends, will be welcoming visitors to the farm for the day on 24 September. Live music by Akimbo adds the final touch to a perfect day out in the winelands.
