Wine & Food Tourism Conference
As a mark of confidence in South Africa’s tourism future, we are calling for entries for this year’s Wine & Food Tourism Awards, established to inspire and promote local wine, food and hospitality in a variety of categories. These include -
- The Authentic South African Experience Award - celebrating those properties, venues or activities that offer tourists a uniquely South African experience.
- Innovation Award - for innovation in concepts, products and services to enhance the tourist offering, and
- The WWF Conservation Leader Award - newly introduced to reward those who excel in addressing the issues of sustainability and conservation in all they do.
The honourees will be announced at the end of September. After these difficult months of lockdown, the awards will provide fresh and much needed marketing and publicity opportunities, as the South African tourism and hospitality industry recovers and re-invents itself as Africa's premier travel destination.
