Bringing the picturesque Stellenbosch winelands to vibrant urban Gauteng, these two not-to-be-missed tastings promise wine-lovers a rare opportunity to sample exciting wines from the past two decades.The first leg takes place in Johannesburg and is hosted by The Hyatt Regency in Rosebank on Wednesday, 21 August 2019, followed by the Pretoria leg at the festive Harlequin Club in Groenkloof on Thursday, 22 August 2019. It is all for a good cause too as all profits will be donated to Spark Schools, a cause very much supported by the Forrester family.
The 25-Year Celebratory Tasting Series will feature rare wines from both Ken Forrester Wines's captivating range, and from Ken’s personal private cellar. These 2 themed tastings are inspired by his journey, and are simply entitled, “Inspirational Stellenbosch”.
“We are so excited to be presenting tastings to celebrate our 25-Year Anniversary Celebrations to our friends in Jozi and Pretoria. If you didn’t already love Chenin Blanc, you will after these,” says Ken Forrester.
