As part of the 12 exclusive international themed tastings on the Saturday morning, Bouchard Finlayson winemaker Chris Albrecht will take 16 guests on an international comparative Pinot Noir journey from various sought-after wine locations in the New World, to the heart of Red Burgundy in the Côte de Nuits. Two flights of five wines will be presented during the ‘Among the Stars’ tasting, each including three New World examples and two Red Burgundies per flight. The tasting will be rounded off by a deliciously tasty light lunch prepared by Chef Stefan Otto and enjoyed in the magic of the Bouchard Finlayson Homestead cellar.

Other highlights of the Pinot Noir Celebration will include ‘Taking Flight’, which will explore the three Hemel-en-Aarde Wards, and ‘Pinot in Paradise’, a barrel tasting with the winemakers. On Saturday evening a wine auction themed ‘Pinot on a Pedestal’ will lead to the celebrity chef dinner with legendary chefs Pete Goff-Wood, Franck Dangereux, Nic van Wyk and George Jardine.
