Fairview
Our Fairview Deli has a tasty new addition!

Originally based in Durbanville, French bakery owner Sophie Courchay has joined hands with Fairview to bake up a storm for our deli and Back’s restaurant pâtisserie section! Sophie is known for creating incredible and authentic pâtisseries based on her very own traditional French recipes.

From December onwards, our deli will be stocked with everything from Bordeaux-inspired canelé – a small French pastry flavored with rum and vanilla with a soft and tender custard center and a dark, thick caramelized crust to Belgian-chocolate brownies, freshly-baked apple tart, cupcakes, chocolate clusters, home-made marshmallows and more.

True to Fairview style, our new pâtisserie section will always be changing and evolving with the seasons and whatever Sophie decides to utilize off our farm. Her new bakery premises is located alongside the cheese factory – so you can expect to see some cheese-influenced savoury snacks available too, including butter-crust quiches and artisianal bread.

It’s the season of indulgence – so pop by our Fairview Tasting Room to indulge in French pastry with an African flair!
