It is with great joy that the South African Wine Tasting Championship announces the first provincial challenge at the Juliet Cullinan Standard Bank Wine Festival at Summer Place on the 13th of July 2016.

The Juliet Cullinan Standard Bank Wine Festival is Johannesburg’s oldest and most respected wine event of the year.  It's the second year that the SAWTC will use this exclusive wine platform to allow wine lovers to test their tasting ability, and compete to become the best wine taster of Gauteng.

Visitors to the Festival are invited to taste and identify wines in unlabeled decanters at the SAWTC stand. The wines will be selected from the exhibitors at the exclusive show.

The SAWTC is not only a great occasion to test your palate with your friends, it also gives you an opportunity to be selected for the South African team that will be flying to Provencein France for the World Blind Tasting Championships in October 2016.

The competition is free. However, as the number of participants is limited for the Provincial blind tasting, we advise you to enlist with SAWTC when the entries open on the 1st of June.
