Share some “ginspiration” at Boschendal’s Werf Restaurant

Executive chef Christiaan Campbell and Roger Jorgensen, producer of handcrafted spirits including the fabulous Jorgensen’s Gin, are pooling their talents to match a curated selection of Gins with a 3-course meal on Saturday, 18 July from 18h30.
Expect to pick up the herbaceous flavours of botanicals like African ginger, Karoo sage, peppery Grains of Paradise, ‘Anysboegoe’ and locally grown juniper berry in artisanal gins paired with dishes like octopus ceviche, yellow tail gravlax, game terrine and slow roasted wild boar.

Comments Christiaan; “It was inspirational to work with the artisanal Gin as they are abundantly expressive in flavour - like liquid seasoning in a bottle! The Flavours of the Gin add new dimension to cured fish, fermented cabbage and game”.

Hosts Roger and Christiaan promise an evening with a difference and the price of R450 pp includes the food and gin pairing (Excludes other beverages and service charges) in the newly renovated Werf Restaurant in the historic Boschendal farm setting.
