The Cape’s foremost tapas dining establishment, Bistro Sixteen82, brings its wildly popular “Taking Tapas To…” series to a close with a taste of Asian cuisine in October, as Chef Brad Ball and his team draw inspiration from the enticing tastes and aromas of the Orient.
October’s menu will feature ten quintessentially Asian dishes, all imbued with Bistro Sixteen82’s signature contemporary twist. Aromas of ginger, honey, soy, star anise and chilli will tantalise palates, as dishes including Sticky Chinese Ribs and Teriyaki Chicken transport taste buds to a land of exotic flavours.

“Asian cuisine is famous for its bold seasonings and textures. With so many exciting flavours to sample, Asian cuisine lends itself to tapas-style dining very well – diners will want to try a bit of everything!” says Chef Brad Ball.

Taking Tapas to Asia is the final instalment of the much-loved “Taking Tapas To…”  series at Bistro Sixteen82, which has transported diners to Italy, The Middle East, Turkey and South Africa since its inception in May, 2013.

“From November, diners can look forward to a return to the classic tapas menu as they drink in the lively atmosphere of Bistro Sixteen82,” says Anetha Homan, Marketing Manager at Steenberg.
