Eagles Nest Wines

They say that only Capetonians really understand the Cape winter, and this is perhaps never truer than when the calendar flips over to 1 September. Whilst the rest of country heralds the arrival of the sunny season, we in the Cape are invariably still battening down the hatches against Mother Nature’s winter finest.

Of course, there are those glorious days of sun-drenched perfection amongst the cold, giving us as much opportunity to enjoy a glass of crisp Sauvignon Blanc al fresco, as to snuggle up with some Shiraz alongside the fireplace. In fact, this dance of the seasons has become one of our favourite times of year – the best of both worlds!
