NEW ARRIVALS SETTLE IN Argentinian import and Gr 1 winning mare Bambina Stripes as well as 8 times winner Without Malice, arrived at the Estate on Saturday to bolster our proven brood mare band even further. Both are from prolific female lines and we believe that their contribution will be substantial as the years go on. VAL DE RA UK UPDATE With our champion speedster Val de Ra due at the end of September and all of us looking forward to meeting the little one, great news just to hand is that she has been chosen as one of only 20 mares world-wide to visit the world’s leading race horse, Frankel during the southern hemisphere covering season. This is a huge achievement for all concerned, and all going well, we plan to bring her back to SA in Feb 2014! 10 YEAR OLD BRANDY WINS INTERNATIONAL AWARD We were recently informed that our highly-rated and much-beloved 10 year old pot-stilled brandy was awarded a silver medal in the International Wine & Spirits Competition, held in London annually. As this is one of the biggest competitions in the world, our hand-crafted limited-release brandy was up against the best in the world and SA, and this medal is such a thrill for the team!
