FNB Free State Wine Show
Bloemfontein wine lovers will be spoilt for choice when the first FNB Free State Wine Show comes to town on the 1st and 2nd August.

Held hot on the heels of the Mpumalanga and Polokwane wine shows, the wine festival concludes the roadshow of the country’s three most prestigious regional wine events, and where an impressive range of the Cape’s best wines – some famous brands and other lesser known labels - are tasted by a broad range of South Africans. As thousands of visitors attending the other regional shows over the last seven years will attest, the festival is designed to delight wine enthusiasts with the latest vintages, mature favourites and new wine accessories and gadgets on the market. A fun night out for both the guru and novice, the FNB Free State Wine Show is proudly brought to you by FNB Private Clients. FNB Private Clients is the private banking and wealth management division of FNB. FNB Private Clients partner some of South Africa's wealthiest entrepreneurs and families in managing, growing and protecting their wealth. For information visit www.FNB.co.za/private-clients.

The FNB Free State Wine Show takes place at Emoya Luxury Hotel & Spa only 7km from the city centre and will boast more than 40 exhibitors of the highest calibre – taste the pride of Beyerskloof, Boekenhoutskloof, Diemersfontein, Ernie Els Wines, Spier, Vrede en Lust and Zevenwacht, to name a few, and round off the evening with a national treasure in the form of Oude Molen Brandies. See www.freestatewineshow.co.za for the full list of exhibitors.

The wine show is directed by wine authority Michael Fridjhon and organised by OutSorceress Marketing, the team responsible for presenting some of the country’s best wine shows including RMB WineX. Says Fridjhon: “Bloemfontein has been part of our wine show planning for some time. For several years we presented a tasting of top Cape wines to Free State audiences; it was evident from the outset that the country's wine makers should be spending more time in the region. Out of this the FNB Free State Wine Show was born - an annual event representative of the very best of South African wine.

“Wine shows are a little like marriage brokers - they bring together like-minded people and leave them to discover just how far their common ground will take them. They work best when producers who have something extraordinary to offer meet up with people who love wine,” adds Fridjhon.
