June is the month for hot water bottles, hearty meals and of course heaps of great red wine! We make dad the centre of attention this Father's Day; gear up for Cook Franschhoek; invite you to join us at the "We Luv Wine" festival; share with you Chef Shaun's seafood spaghetti recipe... and so much more! Cook Franschhoek - 15 & 16 JUNE

Join us on 15 and 16 June for the annual Cook Franschhoek Festival. Start the day at 12h30 with a brief introduction to the Museum van de Caab, followed by a tractor ride to the Dik Delta Fynbos Culinary Gardens where you will tour the garden and taste our range of Dik Delta produce. After being transferred back to Fyndraai you will be entertained by Chef Shaun in his hands-on cooking demonstration whilst exploring the various veldfood flavours. Each demo is limited to 15 people and tickets cost R320 per person – including a 3 course meal and wines to be paired with the meal. Each guest will receive a small gift on to remember the occasion.


On Father's Day Sunday 16 June, we're offering a 3 course set menu consisting of dishes including chicken sweetcorn & mushroom veloute, wild mushroom & herb risotto and banana & chocolate pudding for only R195 per adult (children under 12 R75). We're spoiling Dads with a free gift of pre-released wine signed by our winemaker, a free glass of Solms Astor Cape Jazz Shiraz on arrival and an invitation to enjoy a free wine tasting in the museum before lunch.
