Think chilli salt squid and marinated black tiger prawn on cape malay vegetable breyani with citrus buchu aromas, Fyndraai braai bord, barbequed lamb chops, marinated chicken, traditional boerewors and green leaf and aartappel salad and roasted root vegetables and warm banana and chocolate pudding with ice cream.
Upon arrival at Solms-Delta, Dad will be treated to a free wine tasting at the Museum van de Caab. He will be presented with a complimentary bottle of Solms Astor Langarm 2012 – an unlabelled pre-release bottle signed by winemaker Hagen Viljoen, which he can enjoy with his meal, or take home to drink at leisure.
