RED ESCape, the recently-launched juicy red blend of Shiraz and Pinotage that turned heads with its digital-themed label, is now taking fans online with a great new game, spiced up with wine prizes.
There's also a grand prize of a Samsung Galaxy Tab2 for the top scorer.

Called The Adventures of Reddy as Heard through the Grapevine, the game can be accessed via Facebook. Players score by helping Reddy, the red wine grape, catch as many glasses of wine as possible.  Points per wine glass vary, depending on location and game level.  A bonus multiplier works on the basis of time taken to complete the level, so those players who collect wine glasses quicker than others will receive a higher score.  Players can share their scores with their Facebook friends and invite them to play too.

Within three weeks, the game had already attracted 1 000 players and the fan base has swelled by 30%.

To play, go to the REDESCape Wine Facebook page and become a fan (if you’re not already one), then click on the Play & Win tab. You will be taken to a page where you will be asked to enter some details in order to participate and to qualify for the lucky draws and main prize. Those who don't enter their details can still play the game, but won’t be in line to win any prizes.

The 2010 vintage of RED ESCape is available from the Stellenzicht farm in Stellenbosch, and leading liquor outlets nationwide.  It retails for around R54 a bottle.
