There is a definite bite in the air as Mother Nature prepares to welcome Winter. We take our "cue" from the seasons and from the 6th of May we will be operating on "winter hours", meaning the restaurant will be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. The Wine Centre will be open from Monday to Saturday, 10h00 - 17h00 as well as Sundays and Public Holidays 10h00 - 16h00.

To warm up for winter, our chef Chris, has created some amazing new dishes on our menu, so be sure to join us soon for a cosy lunch. Remember that it is Mother's Day on the 12th, so book in advance to avoid disappointment.
Some of my favourites on the starter menu include the twice baked cheese soufflé with apple and roasted walnut salad and the baked Melanzane stack with layers of aubergine, tomato and mozzarella and arrabiata sauce, salsa verde and gratinated pecorino cheese. The Piripiri chicken livers are also a sure way to keep the cold at bay!
Expect hearty mains like pepper crusted seared springbok loin, leg of lamb bobotie, and chef's daily soup specials.
My pick on the dessert menu has to be the caramelised white chocolate cheese cake, a winter winner! In fact it is so delicious I will eat it in any season.
