The 2013 judging takes place at Grande Roche, Paarl, from 6 to 9 May. An extensive roadshow programme follows the release of the show's results on 30 May and comprises Masterclass® tastings in eight Southern African cities (includes Windhoek and now East London for the first time) and Public Tastings in Johannesburg and Cape Town. A large audience of SA wine lovers - in the order of 2 500 Old Mutual VIP guests and members of the public - will be exposed to this year's top wines at the Old Mutual Trophy Wine Show roadshow during June. Each guest receives a take home copy of the Icons show guide containing a detailed review of this year's competition and full details of the achievers - and will additionally be able to order these wines on the night of their attendance. The judging co-ordination, logistics, wine entry administration and communication will be managed by the same team as in 2012: Michael Crossley and Alex Mason-Gordon. You are reminded to diarise the Judges’ Feedback Session on 9 May at the Grande Roche - a comprehensive reportback by the judges on their impressions of the state of the wine industry immediately after the judging has taken place.
