The Fairview Vineyard Cheesery has recently extended its goat’s milk cheese range to include 6 new 100% goat’s milk cheeses. Due to a high consumer demand, Fairview changed the ratio of goat’s and cow’s milk in the cheese from a 70:30 ratio to a 100% goat’s milk cheese.
The extended 100% goat's milk range includes the Fairview Chevin and Crottin cheese. The Chevin is soft, has a crumbly texture and is available in 3 flavours; Garlic & Herb, Black Pepper & Paprika and Traditional cheese. The Crottin cheese is a full flavoured, firm, white mould cheese available in one traditional flavour. The Chevin range and Crottin cheese are both Halaal and Kosher certified, and are currently available at the Fairview Deli in Paarl and all leading retail stores country wide.

With this extension comes exciting developments, such as our new Feta and Camembert. These additions are all 100% Goats Milk cheese. The packaging presents a fresh, quirky and pastoral look-and-feel reminding consumers of the farm origin of the cheese. Our iconic Fairview goat stands proud on the label in a beautiful farm setting, amongst a fruit tree and scenic mountains.

"We worked closely with our Cheese Master, Louis and his team to develop this exceptional new range. I am confident that consumers will enjoy eating it as much as we enjoyed crafting it!" says Fairview's Chief Operational Officer, Chris Davis.

Fairview is the first Carbon Neutral Cheesery on the African continent, certified by The Carbon Protocol of South Africa.
