The Gallery at Grande Provence Heritage Wine Estate will be presenting a solo exhibition, “Life as a House” as well as “The Ceramists” exhibition.
The Gallery at Grande Provence Heritage Wine Estate, Franschhoek, proudly presents a solo exhibition of paintings by Donna McKellar titled ‘Life as a House’, which coincides with the Franschhoek ‘Art in Clay’ Festival.

‘Life as a House’ exhibition opens on Saturday, 27 October 2012 at 11h00, until Monday, 3 December 2012 and is centred around urban decay, lack of maintenance, loss of beauty and strength - as related to human life.

The Franschhoek ‘Art in Clay’ Festival exhibition at The Gallery is titled ‘The Ceramists’ and will feature an installation of porcelain bowls by John Bauer, who will open the ceramics exhibition. A wide variety of ceramic artworks and vessels will be shown in The Project Room, The Cathedral and The Shop.

Other participating artists include Andile Dyalvane, Astrid Dahl, Gráinne McHugh, Karin Lijnes, Karen Kotze, Rae Goosen, Sandy Godwin, Anna van der Linde, David Schlapobersky, Felicity Potter, Mfuneko Dingiswayo and Monika van der Berg among others. ‘The Ceramists’ will run until Friday, 16 November 2012.
