Nestled at the foot of the Helderberg Mountains, along the Annandale Road off the R44 between Somerset West and Stellenbosch, lovers of fine food and wine - young and old - can enjoy a sumptuous, yet typically South African, culinary experience at the Vintage D’vine Restaurant at Bilton Wines.
With her passion and love of food, resident chef Nella Mienies, will tempt guests with her ‘home-cooked’ meals which feature prominently on the traditional Cape Cuisine lunch menu boasting several old world favourites. Main courses include chicken pie, bobotie, vetkoek and the legendary Matt Black burger. Not shy on portion sizes, visitors are encouraged to leave space for their delectable desserts, which include syrupy koeksisters and delicious malva pudding.

“The restaurant project forms part of our BEE drive in uplifting and supporting our own staff”, says General Manager, Johann Diedericks, “Nella is a natural when it comes to food and has trained and equipped our staff to transform the restaurant into an establishment which we can all be proud of.”

This charming, family-orientated restaurant has a wonderful casual feel to it, boasting beautiful surroundings and true South African hospitality – and of course reasonable menu prices complimented by the world-renowned Bilton Wines. Most menu options are priced in the R25 to R75 range.
