Private South African wine collection for sale

Peter Brits, well known collector of South African wines, ports and muscadels, is selling his collection, as he prepares to immigrate.
The collection, amassed over 20 years, includes such rarities as the 1948 Monis Port, the 1963 KWV Bartolomeu Dias, Nederburg Edelkeur from the Auction, vertical tastings of Vin de Constance Muscat d'Frontignac and other delights.

The collection is curated by Margaret Fry, Johannesburg based Cape Wine Master, who advises on cellar investments and private collections.

The wines are sorted into "lots" for sale and in total there are 1,833 bottles of wine, comprising 265 lots. The collection goes on show on 26 March 2011 at Sandton Town & Country Hotel in Lonehill.
