The House of J.C. Le Roux
Bring on summer with a refreshing taste sensation at The House of J.C. Le Roux where delicious fruit sorbets meet a selection of sparkling and Méthode Cap Classique wines with their new Sparking wine and Sorbet tasting.
By carefully pairing their sparkling wines with handmade sorbets, South Africa's leading home of sparkling wine offers you sheer indulgence on spectacular summer days in the heart of the Stellenbosch winelands.

For just R30 per person you can indulge in three exquisite J.C. Le Roux sparkling and Cap Classique wines paired with delicious sorbets crafted by Seasons Restaurant at The House of J.C. Le Roux.

First on the list is the J.C. Le Roux Sauvignon Blanc with Cherry and Granadilla Sorbet. The contrast between the sweet cherry & granadilla and the crispness of the Sauvignon blanc creates a wonderful taste explosion in the mouth, with the granadilla enhancing the tropical fruit flavours in the sparkling wine. "The fruitiness of the sorbet fills out the wine and makes it fuller on the palate," says Cellarmaster Elunda Basson who helped to pair the sorbets with the sparkling wines.

The J.C. Le Roux La Vallée with Mango Sorbet is a heavenly combination and melts into a wonderful rich, velvety mouthfeel with every sip. The exceptionally smooth texture and tropical flavour of the Mango Sorbet enhance the creamy, buttery tones of this off-dry Méthode Cap Classique.

The J.C. Le Roux La Vallée Rosé with Strawberry Sorbet is a perfect match in both colour and taste allowing the refreshing sorbet to bring out the strawberry character in this delightful Méthode Cap Classique Rosé. Made predominantly of Pinot noir grapes, the red berry fruit in this elegant, off-dry Cap Classique is lifted by the Strawberry Sorbet.

Situated in the picturesque Devon Valley near Stellenbosch, The House of J.C. Le Roux is renowned for making fine vintage Méthode Cap Classique and sparkling wines to suit every palate. Come and experience the craftsmanship of a fine vintage Cap Classique and observe the time-honoured French tradition of bottle fermentation. The "magic in the bottle" is mirrored by the magical experience when visiting the cellar. The House of J.C. Le Roux is open seven days a week.
