Stellenbosch Wine Routes
Get ready to experience the Winelands in all their glory as the 9th annual Stellenbosch Wine Festival assembles its fleet of shuttles that will transport you to and from your favourite participating wine farm from 1 to 5 July.
Delight in superb wines, great food and activities galore without the hassle of driving or getting lost - simply sit back and enjoy the breathtaking views.

Park your car at any of the eight allocated Park-and-Ride sites situated at Bottelary Hills Wine Centre, Blaauwklippen, Delvera, Eikendal, Oude Libertas, Skilpadvlei, Zorgvliet, with the central at the Information Centre at Doornbosch, from where additional shuttles will transport you to the wine farms of your choice.

Visit the Checkers Cheese and Wine stops, set up at each Park-and-Ride site and tantalise your taste buds with tasters exclusive to their cheese world and wine route while you wait for the shuttle to take you to the next stop.
Festival passes will be available for purchase at all Park-and-Ride sites and shuttles will travel between 09h00 - 17h00. A time table will be available at every Park-and-Ride site and each shuttle will have its very own festival ambassador on board to ensure that you have an extraordinary experience!

Enthusiastic soccer fans can also join in the wine extravaganza as transport to and from the Festival has been arranged from Cape Town. Shuttles will depart from the V&A Waterfront clock tower in Cape Town and return in the evening. Visitors will also be able to travel to the wine farms using their own transport.

Festival goers with a sense of adventure can spoil someone special by taking them on the Stellenbosch Wine Festival Helicopter Extravaganza on Saturday, 3 July or Sunday, 4 July. Base 4 helicopters will fly enthusiastic wine lovers between Blaauwklippen, Skilpadvlei and Zorgvliet where you can delight in all the wonderful festival offerings in true VIP style. Booking is essential and tickets are available at R750 per person, which includes your festival pass. For more information, call (021) 934 4405.

The Industry Association for Responsible Alcohol Use (ARA) that has been associated with the Stellenbosch Wine Festival for the past three years has again pledged its support, ensuring that wine lovers get to enjoy splendid wines while being aware of responsible alcohol consumption. Festival goers are encouraged to appoint a designated driver if they choose to drive themselves around the farms.
