Durbanville Hills
From world-class wine accolades to unforgettable food-and-wine evenings and creative weekend escapes, there’s so much happening at Durbanville Hills.

Celebrate our recent Decanter wins (and hear why our cellarmaster calls Sauvignon Blanc the "Taylor Swift of grapes"); sip and socialise at our lively Metro Merlot evenings; explore the new, limited-edition Durbanville Wine Valley Pinotage; or get hands-on at our Sip and Create workshops. Whether you're here for the wine, the stories, or the shared moments, we can’t wait to welcome you at Durbanville Hills.

Swifties, Sauvignon Blanc and Decanter recognition

At Durbanville Hills, our cellarmaster Pieter-Niel Rossouw has a soft spot for Sauvignon Blanc, calling it the "Taylor Swift of grapes" – loved by everyone, versatile, and "snob-proof." That love is paying off, with our 2023 Tangram White Blend, led by Sauvignon Blanc from four special vineyard blocks, earning gold at both the 2025 Investec Trophy Wine Show (97 points, Top 10) and the Decanter World Wine Awards (96 points), ranking it among Decanter’s current top six Sauvignon Blanc wines in the world. Our 2024 Collectors Reserve The Cape Mist Sauvignon Blanc picked up 93 points at Decanter, while the 2025 Durbanville Hills Sauvignon Blanc brought home gold from Gilbert & Gaillard. We believe it's the grape’s bright, food-friendly personality, its ability to reflect our cool Durbanville terroir, and the fresh grassy, citrus and tropical flavours that make it so irresistible.

Limited-edition Durbanville Wine Valley Pinotage

The Durbanville Wine Route recently unveiled the result of many months of collaboration, with every winemaker in the valley contributing to The Durbanville Wine Valley Pinotage 2024. This special release was crafted to mark three major milestones: the 200th anniversary of the town of Durbanville, 100 years of Pinotage as South Africa’s own cultivar, and 100 years of Afrikaans as an official language. Once again, the winemakers of Durbanville have joined forces to showcase the valley’s collective talent, reaffirming its reputation not only as a Sauvignon Blanc stronghold but also as a source of distinguished cool-climate red wines.

The way this wine is being shared is as meaningful as its creation. It stands as a symbol of family, unity, and legacy. Presented in a striking blue and gold gift box, the 1.5-litre magnums retail at R1 200 each.
