Unfiltered Thursdaze, our popular after-hours Thursday ritual, is back on in summer! This is where wine, music, food and connection come together in an unhurried, informal setting. The evening begins under the olive trees with a welcome pour and three small paired bites, followed by an informal introduction to the wines. Guests can then explore at their own pace, with pizza and wine available to purchase and music setting the mood from melodic house into the evening.
At the heart of the experience are unfiltered, experimental wines, including barrel cuts, tank samples and trial blends not usually available to taste. Guests can also take part in Guess the Barrel, with correct guesses entering a draw to win tickets to another evening. Members of the winemaking team share stories from behind the barrels, while selected evenings feature a photo booth for capturing the night. Strictly no under-18s.

The Durbanville Wine Valley is once again putting on its annual Tasting Under the Stars showcase of wineries in the region, and we’re part of it, of course! Join us for special edition of Unfiltered Thursdaze (as described in the story above) to feature a live DJ on the evening, and a unique menu.

Restaurant Week at The Tangram
25 September – 1 November 2026
We’re participating in Restaurant Week South Africa, with The Tangram chef Tamzyn Ehlers bringing you a special two- or three-course dining experience. Menu highlights include Springbok carpaccio, Chalmar beef fillet, Bobotie-spiced chicken supreme, malva pudding and chocolate fondant, with Durbanville Hills wines available to complement the dishes.
Set among the vineyards with views towards Table Mountain and Table Bay, expect elegant dining that celebrates fresh seasonal flavours matched with award-winning wines.

Halloween Sip and Create
31 October | 18:30 | Durbanville Hills Olive Grove
Get into the Halloween spirit at Sip and Create: Cocktail Edition, an evening of cocktails, food, music and festive fun, and discover our new Olive Grove space. Led by a professional mixologist, guests will create two signature cocktails to enjoy alongside a selection of snacks.
A live DJ will keep the evening moving, while costumes are encouraged, whether spooky, stylish or simply playful. Additional cocktails, wines and food will be available to purchase on the night.
R450 per person, including cocktails, food and entertainment.

Karaoke with winemakers

Join us for an evening of wine, music and good-natured fun with our team of winemakers. Enjoy a welcome drink on arrival before taking to the mic, backed by a live band. Sing solo, gather your friends for a group performance or team up with one of our winemakers for a duet. Whether you’re a seasoned performer or a shower singer, it’s all about having fun. Wines, other beverages and freshly made pizzas will be available throughout the evening.
