For JAN Franschhoek Season V, Jan Hendrik van der Westhuizen’s innovative expression of the South African family table will once again be a nostalgic journey inspired by global culinary trends. Patrons can expect menus that are proudly local, allowing room for something mysterious and glamorous. Enjoy a re-imagination of family traditions and regional favourites through seasonal themes and the brilliance of beautifully paired food and wine.
Acclaimed for its warm Cape Winelands hospitality in its extensive hospitality offering, La Motte invites you to experience JAN Franschhoek Season V. It promises to be a journey through food and wine that will have you reminisce and explore at the same time.
JAN Franschhoek Season V opens on 4 September 2026
JAN Franschhoek will be open for dinner from Wednesdays to Saturdays, from Friday, 4 September 2026 until Friday, 30 April 2027. The experience starts with a welcome in the La Motte Manor House at 18h30 and dinner begins promptly at 19h00.
On Sundays, the JAN Franschhoek food and wine experience is in the form of an extended lunch. Commencing at 12h30, guests are welcomed in the La Motte Manor House from 12h00.
Reservations for September and October open on Dineplan on 20 July 2026, while the remainder of the reservations will open on 1 September 2026.
The food and wine experience costs R3 550 per person.
