Heineken Beverages' wine portfolio performed exceptionally at the Trophy Wine Show, with leading brands Nederburg and Durbanville Hills earning impressive accolades.

HEINEKEN Beverages' distinguished wine portfolio delivered an exceptional performance at the 2026 Investec Trophy Wine Show, earning an impressive collection of trophies, gold and silver accolades across its leading brands, including Nederburg and Durbanville Hills.

The results underscore the group’s commitment to producing world-class South African wines across a wide range of styles and price points, with standout performances led by Nederburg's trophy-winning wines.

Nederburg leads with double trophy success

Nederburg Wines emerged as one of the competition's top-performing producers, securing two major trophies for its acclaimed Winemasters range.

The Nederburg The Winemasters Noble Late Harvest 2018 achieved a remarkable 98 points and won:

  • Trophy for Best Museum Class Dessert Wine
  • Trophy for Best Museum Class Wine Overall

The winery’s celebrated The Winemasters Shiraz 2024 further impressed judges, earning 97 points alongside:

  • Investec Trophy for Best Shiraz
  • Investec Trophy for Discovery of the Show – Best Value Gold Medallist

Additional highlights for Nederburg included:

  • Nederburg Heritage Heroes The Brew Master Bordeaux Blend 2021 – Gold, 96 points
  • Nederburg Heritage Heroes The Anchor Man Old Vine Chenin Blanc 2024 – Silver, 91 points
  • Nederburg Baronne 2024 – Silver, 91 points
  • Nederburg Cap Classique 2018 – Silver, 90 points

Strong showing for Durbanville Hills

Durbanville Hills once again demonstrated its winemaking consistency, particularly through its premium Collectors Reserve range.

Top performers included:

  • Durbanville Hills The Tangram White Blend 2024 – Silver, 91 points
  • Durbanville Hills Collectors Reserve The Promenade Pinotage 2024 – Silver, 90 points
