Pebbles Project
Make a difference in the Cape Winelands by partnering with Pebbles Project. Here are ten ways to partner with them.

The Pebbles Project is a non-profit organisation based in the Western Cape that is dedicated to ensuring that children and young adults from agricultural communities have access to the services and opportunities they deserve.

1. Establish a Pebbles ECD centre or after-school centre on your farm

Depending on the demographic and specific needs of your farm, as well as the number of farms we currently support in your region, there may be an opportunity to establish an early childhood development (ECD) Centre or after-school centre on your farm.

2. Partner with the Pebbles Clinic

Support the health and wellbeing of your farmworkers and their families by partnering with our health service team at the Pebbles Clinic.

3. Partner with the Pebbles Kitchen

If your farm has an existing ECD centre or after-school facility, consider partnering with our nutrition service division to provide nutritious meals delivered directly to your farm.

4. Partner with the Pebbles Recycled Soap Project

Support youth employment by stocking and selling our handmade soaps and candles at your reception, tasting room, restaurant, or accommodation.

5. Partner with our school enrichment programme

Host our school enrichment programme's beneficiaries for job shadowing experiences, offering them valuable insight into the working world and the wine industry.

6. Partner with our youth development programme

Provide valuable job shadowing or practical work experience opportunities for young adults, helping them build skills and gain exposure to the hospitality and wine industries.

7. Become an hospitality fundraising initiative partner

You can support our Hospitality Fundraising Initiative (HFI) in the following ways:

  • Display a table stand with a QR code linked to our donation platform
  • Display a donation box with envelopes for cash contributions
  • Sell Pebbles Relate Bracelets
  • Display our brochures and annual reports

8. Donate in kind

Contribute surplus produce from your farm to the Pebbles Kitchen, or donate items listed in our annual wish list.

9. Organise a fundraiser or donation drive

Host an internal fundraiser or donation drive (such as a clothing or food drive) to support our programmes and engage your staff in giving back.

10. Volunteer with Pebbles Project

Organise a group volunteer day for your team. This is a powerful way to build team cohesion while making a meaningful impact in the community.
