Bottelary Hills Collection

Hazendal presents the Estate’s new Bottelary Hills wine collection by cellarmaster, Kiara Scott Farmer.

"Every vintage holds clues, patterns hidden in the vines waiting to be understood," she says. For Kiara, these clues are subtle guides of her winemaking philosophy.

The Bottelary Hills collection presents a balanced curation of three single-variety wines: Sauvignon Blanc, Syrah, and Pinot Noir Rosé.

Visit the Wine Lounge to explore the range through a guided tasting.

Kiara Scott Farmer, Hazendal's new cellarmaster

Kiara reimagines the Estate’s viticultural and winemaking philosophy.

“My heritage drives me to honour the resilience and creativity of my community by creating wines that are authentic and innovative, and bridging tradition with a more inclusive, forward-thinking future.”

Kiara received formal education in Oenology and Viticulture at the Elsenburg Agricultural Training Institute, where her talent was recognised by the Cape Winemakers Guild Protégé Programme. In 2024 Kiara won the Diners Club Winemaker of the Year award with her 2022 Old Vine Chenin Blanc becoming the first female of colour to hold the important award.

Zeit Mocca Gala

Hazendal and Zeitz MOCAA celebrate three years of a meaningful partnership at the Museum’s 2026 Annual Fundraising Gala.

Hazendal is honoured to be the principal supporter of the Museum’s Membership Program and to be the Museum’s chosen provider of wines for local and international events.

As a leading institution on the continent, Zeitz MOCAA’s mission is to promote and preserve contemporary art from Africa and its diaspora not only as a form of cultural expression, but as a catalyst for education, critical discourse, and social transformation.

Graduate show exhibition

The Gallery is hosting the opening of a new exhibition, What the Body Keeps | A Recent Graduate Show, on Saturday, 11 April 2026 from 11h00 for 11h30. The day begins with a facilitated session at 10h00, followed by the exhibition viewing and a lunch at Siyalima. This considered curation reflects on the body as a living archive, where memory, experience, and inheritance are held, reshaped, and carried forward through material, gesture, and form.
