The last grapes of harvest 2026

The last grapes have officially come in, marking a big moment in this year’s harvest. There’s always something about that final delivery – a shift in pace and the feeling that everything is now in the cellar.

A big thank you to the cellar team for the hard work and long hours throughout this period. It’s been a demanding few weeks, and their effort has kept everything moving as it should.

Now the work continues in the cellar. Fermentation is underway, and this is where the next stage really begins. There’s a lot to look forward to, and we’re excited to see how this year’s wines take shape.

Blessing of the Crush 2026

Remember to book for this year's Blessing of the Crush – a moment where we celebrate the end of harvest and everything that’s gone into it, happening on 18 April 2026 at the Flagstone Tasting Room. It’s always a great afternoon at the tasting room, bringing together good wine, good food and a bit of that harvest energy still in the air.

Silver Spoon will be taking care of the catering and, as always, the wines will be flowing. It’s a relaxed, social afternoon with live music and a chance to meet the wine making team and taste some tank samples.

Tickets are limited, so it’s worth booking early if you’d like to join us.

Meet the finance team

This month, we're introducing the finance team – the people working behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly.

Meet Reinhard Rall, Clive Giles, Hannelie Kapp, Kay Jooste and Aretha April. While you might not always see them in action, their work plays a big role in keeping things on track and moving forward.

Tasting Room closed on 3 April (Good Friday)

Please note that the tasting room will be closed on Good Friday, 3 April. We’ll be open again on Easter Monday and look forward to welcoming you back. If you’re planning a visit over the long weekend, just keep this in mind when making your plans.

Upcoming food and wine events

We’re excited to share the new menu for our upcoming Food & Wine Pop-Up events, happening on 27 and 28 March as well as 10 and 11 April.

Join us at the tasting room between 12h00 and 15h00 to enjoy a relaxed afternoon, with dishes prepared by Chefs Mark and Mo and all your favourite Flagstone wines available to order.
