Inzuzo
Inzuzo, a a worker-owned nonprofit blending winemaking excellence with community upliftment, embodies the essence of #wineforgood.

Launched officially at CapeWine 2025, Inzuzo Wine Company is a not-for-profit business, majority owned by vineyard and cellar workers from the Sir Lowry’s Pass area.
Inzuzo’s vision is to embrace creativity and empower, building foundations for future generations through quality wines and community spirit.

At the helm of the Inzuzo Wine Company is the dynamic and inspiring winemaker, Kaylin Willscott. Born and raised locally, Kaylin has risen to be one of the rising stars of the SA wine scene, having been awarded Cape Winemaker's Guild Protégé of the Year in 2023 and included in Wineland Media’s 30 Under 30 list in 2025. Her passion and talent shone in her position as assistant winemaker of Journey's End, so it was clear that she was ready to take the helm of her own project.

For Kaylin, Inzuzo is an opportunity to bring together her passion for winemaking and desire to give back to the community around her. Moving forward, Kaylin hopes to delve into more mentorship programmes, helping others to spread their wings and reach toward success.

Inzuzo means benefit in Zulu – Through creating quality wines and channelling the proceeds to vital causes that focus on upliftment, the company aims to create long-term benefit to those around them.

The first project to uplift the local community is the Sir Lowry’s Pass Village Art Programme, in partnership with artist Charlie Vettori. This project aims to engage and rehabilitate young people through art, as well as bringing colour and vibrancy to the village, creating a home the community are proud of.

Constantly inspired by the creativity of Charlie’s brilliant team, Inzuzo are proud to display the locally-made artwork on the label of every bottle of wine they produce.

For Kaylin and her team, Inzuzo is more than just a wine label. It embodies the story of a community, it’s people and the power of opportunity. In each bottle, the Inzuzo Wine Company create a wine that is rich in both taste and purpose.
