The Court of Master Sommeliers Europe (CMS Europe) will return to Johannesburg in 2026, further cementing South Africa's position as a destination for globally benchmarked wine education. The programme will be hosted by Chenin Noir, a leading hospitality consultancy specialising in wine education, sensory training and professional standards development across the African continent.
Scheduled to take place from 28-30 June 2026, the programme will offer the Introductory Sommelier Course and the Certified Sommelier Examination, providing candidates with access to internationally recognised certification delivered locally by the Court of Master Sommeliers Europe.
