This February we invite wine lovers, creatives and romantics alike to experience two unforgettable events designed to celebrate harvest season in true Dry Land style.
Rooted in 85 years of winemaking excellence, Perdeberg’s award-winning Dry Land Collection is a tribute to resilience, crafted from vineyards that brave the elements with little to no irrigation. It’s wine with character, depth and a story in every sip. Now, that same spirit sets the scene for two beautifully curated evenings under wide open skies.
19 February: Harvest Sunset Workshop

Harvest season is a time of abundance, nostalgia and celebration, and at STEEN, you’re invited to savour it in the most delicious way.
Guests will roll up their sleeves and make their own traditional mosbolletjies and moskonfyt, a sweet nod to the Cape’s rich harvest heritage. As the scent of freshly baked mos buns fills the air and golden vineyards glow at sunset, you’ll enjoy a selection of harvest-inspired snacks, perfectly paired with a glass of Roussouw’s Heritage from the acclaimed Dry Land Collection.
Crafted from vineyards that brave the elements with minimal irrigation, the Dry Land wines reflect resilience, character and authenticity, much like harvest season itself . Roussouw’s Heritage, a vibrant white blend layered with citrus, passion fruit and a crisp finish, is the ideal companion to this nostalgic culinary experience.
It’s hands–on. It’s heartfelt. It’s harvest at its most joyful.
An evening of fun to celebrate the season! Flour–dusted hands, full glasses and the Paarl sunset as your backdrop.
Cost per person is R395 and pre-booking is essential as seating is limited.
27 February: Date Night at Perdeberg

Love is in the Paarl air.
STEEN at Perdeberg Cellar transforms into an intimate setting made for romance. Date Night is designed for couples who appreciate meaningful moments – shared laughter, exceptional wine and lingering sunsets.
Expect beautifully set tables, harvest–season ambience and wines that speak of courage and character – from vibrant Chenin Blanc to bold, structured reds . Whether it’s a first date or a long–celebrated love story, this evening promises connection in its purest form.
Because when wine is grown in tough conditions and crafted with minimal intervention, it tells an honest story. And honest stories are best shared with someone special.
The cost is R350 per couple and includes shared homemade tortilla chips, smash burgers each and a decadent dessert to share!
Both events reflect what Perdeberg does best: creating authentic experiences rooted in nature, resilience and generosity.
This February, step into the story.
Chase the sunset.
Celebrate the harvest.
Toast to love.
