La Petite Ferme
Meet head barman Heinrich Phillips, one of the friendly faces who helps bring the La Petite Ferme experience to life.

Heinrich has been part of the La Petite Ferme family for 4 years, starting his journey behind the bar as a barman. Today, he proudly holds the role of head barman, while also stepping in to assist with wine tastings and hosting, always ready to make every guest feel welcome.

Known as a true people person, Heinrich loves working with guests and believes hospitality is all about connection, energy, and great service with a smile.

Outside of work, Heinrich enjoys quality time with his three boys, whether it’s playing PlayStation, relaxing at home, or cheering on his favourite team while watching rugby.

And if you’ve met him, you’ll know… Heinrich is always ready with a joke and loves keeping guests entertained.

Next time you’re at La Petite Ferme, be sure to say hello, Heinrich will most likely be the one making your cocktail and your day!

About La Petite Ferme

Our boutique-style cellar, nestled on 15 hectares, meticulously crafts wines that reflect Franschhoek’s terroir. Sensitively navigating diversity, we let the grapes lead, ensuring each bottle encapsulates the region’s essence.

At the heart of our winemaking lies a profound belief that every bottle tells a unique story. Each vintage, each varietal, is a chapter in the ongoing narrative of our land, our vines, and the delicate interplay of nature’s elements. We are co-creators with nature. This partnership requires care at every stage, from the vineyard to the cellar. Our approach is one of gentle stewardship, allowing the grapes to express their true character and potential without imposing a predetermined outcome.
