De Meye Wines
This year, the sense of anticipation at De Meye is bolstered by something truly special – an outstanding performance in the 2026 Platter's Guide.

De Meye’s wines shone brightly in the Platter's by Diners Club South African Wine Guide 2026, and we couldn’t be prouder of the entire team behind them. The Cabernet Franc 2021 led the charge with an impressive 5-star rating. Close behind, our Syrah 2023 and our Trutina Cabernet Sauvignon 2020 each earning 4.5 stars. Our Rosé 2025 received a Hidden Gem award, a recognition that feels beautifully fitting for a wine that always surprises with its elegance and charm. Several others brought home 4-star ratings and Good Value accolades, rounding out a set of results that reflect not only the character of our wines, but the care and dedication poured into every bottle.

With achievements like these, the festive season seems to sparkle a little brighter.

If you’re curious to experience these celebrated wines firsthand, our tasting room is the perfect place to settle in and explore them. Sit beneath leafy trees with a calm, countryside charm, it offers an inviting space to sample the latest Platter’s winners alongside farm-only releases and seasonal favorites. Whether you’re discovering a new bottle or revisiting a trusted classic, a visit to De Meye brings the wines (and the stories behind them) to life.

And just in time for all this excitement, we’ve launched the De Meye Wine Club. A new way to stay connected to the heart of the farm. Wine Club Members receive a curated mixed case every four months, each selection highlighting seasonal favorites, limited releases and special bottlings. Beyond that, the club opens the door to wines few ever taste, unreleased experiments, older vintages pulled from deep within the cellar, and other discoveries usually reserved for the inner circle. Members also enjoy access to private events, exclusive discounts, and a closer look into the craft that shapes each vintage.

As the days grow long and the vineyards lean into their sunlit rhythm, De Meye enters one of its most expressive seasons. Early summer in Stellenbosch has a way of making everything feel alive. Light shimmering on young leaves, soft breezes carrying the scent of new growth, and vines quietly moving from flowering to fruit set. It’s a time of promise, perfectly matched to the growing excitement of the holiday season.

Strolling through the rows now, you can see the vintage beginning to write its own story. Tender blooms open across the vineyard, clusters start to form, and tendrils stretch upward with unmistakable energy. These bright, sun-washed weeks shape the wines that will soon anchor festive tables, picnics, long lunches, and slow, celebratory evenings. Here’s to a season of warmth, blossoming landscapes, and the joy of raising a glass filled with the spirit of our farm. Cheers to the team, to the vines, and to everyone who makes these wines what they are.
