Fryer's Cove is proud to announce two outstanding achievements in the 2026 Platter's South African Wine Guide.

Fryer's Cove is proud to announce two outstanding achievements in the respected Platter's by Diners Club South African Wine Guide 2026. Both the Bamboes Bay Sauvignon Blanc and the Fryer’s Cove Grenache Cinsault have been awarded an impressive 4 stars, reaffirming the team’s commitment to crafting wines that reflect the character and purity of the Cape West Coast.

Perched on one of the most dramatic and isolated coastal vineyards in South Africa, Bamboes Bay Sauvignon Blanc continues to showcase the tension, minerality and precision that the site has become known for. The 4-star rating highlights its distinctive maritime expression and the winemaking team’s focus on balance, vibrancy and terroir clarity.

Equally deserving of celebration is the Fryer’s Cove Grenache Cinsault, a wine that captures the soulful, windswept spirit of the coast with bright red fruit, spice and finesse. Its 4-star recognition underscores the thoughtful blending approach and the intuitive understanding of these rugged vineyards.

“These results reflect the passion and hard work of everyone involved,” the team said. “Our vineyards demand resilience and respect, and it is incredibly rewarding to see that effort recognised at such a high level.”

The 2026 Platter’s ratings mark yet another milestone in the continued rise of Fryer’s Cove, and stand as a testament to the quality, character and authenticity of these coastal wines.
