Webersburg boasts a wine-making heritage spanning over 219 years, with Abraham Bastian at the forefront of the estate’s early winemaking. Groenerivier Farm was established in 1689, and in 1693 it was officially granted as an estate by Simon van der Stel, the first Governor of the Cape Colony.
Renowned for its Cabernet Sauvignon, Webersburg benefits from world-class terroir shaped by rich soils, cool sea breezes, and protection from the prevailing south-easterly winds. The dominant soil type, decomposed shale, contributes to the wine’s complex structure and a distinct terroir-driven minerality.

The Manor House: five luxurious en-suite rooms, two inviting lounges, and an authentic Cape Dutch ambiance created by antique furnishings and original wooden floors. The Manor House can be booked individually or as a private whole for up to 10 guests.
The Oak Cottage: a premium three-bedroom en-suite cottage with open-plan living, kitchen, dining, and a braai on the patio. A fireplace provides warmth in winter, while the expansive patio suits summer days.
