Diemersfontein is setting the scene for summer this November with wine specials, upcoming events, and more.

The echoes of Pinotage On Tap, held on 11 October, are still dancing through the vines as we enter the penultimate month of 2025... What a day it was! From the first pour to the final encore, guests revelled in everything that makes the event a true Diemersfontein favourite: fabulous food, flowing wine, good friends, and that unmistakable POT energy. Thank you to everyone who joined us; you set the tone perfectly for celebrating 100 Years of Pinotage!

Meanwhile on the farm, we’ve been busy giving our Diemersfontein Guesthouse a well-deserved refresh. Think elegant updates, softer textures, and a few stylish surprises to make each stay feel like the perfect countryside escape. Even though we undertake to minimise disturbing the tranquility of the estate during your stay, please be aware that there are still ongoing renovation and construction work, as we improve our guest rooms.

Because no Diemersfontein summer is complete without a little music, we’re thrilled to announce our Vibes in the Vines concert series. The Diemersfontein Amphitheatre will come alive with sound, laughter, and sunsets that make you forget what day it is. Keep an eye out for our lineup announcements; you’ll want to mark those dates early!

Speaking of dates, Sunday, 7 December promises a fabulously festive day for the family to visit. Our Christmas Market will fill the estate with Christmas cheer, and the incomparable Rocco De Villiers will take to the stage for an afternoon of dazzling entertainment. It’s the perfect way to start the season of joy; with music, laughter, and maybe a little gift shopping between sips.

Summer has arrived, the tables are set, and the corks are ready to pop. We can’t wait to welcome you to Diemersfontein, where every day is a good day for a glass of wine and a moment of joy.

Pinotage on Tap returns in 2026

Mark your calendars and raise your glasses, because Pinotage on Tap is back at Diemersfontein Wine Estate in Wellington on Saturday, 10 October 2026!

Pinotage on Tap in 2025, hosted for the first time since 2019, was an unforgettable success. We decided to take a family-friendly approach, using Barrel Pour Coupons to dispense the wines, which allowed us to welcome all generations to the festivities. Considering the variety of food vendors, various activities, and the lineup of live performances by world-class local musicians, it comes as no surprise that we had an immediate influx of enquiries asking us to confirm the date for next year…

And now that we’re back in the swing of things; Pinotage on Tap 2026, again hosted on International Pinotage Day, promises to be even better!

Whether you’re a long-time fan or new to the world of wine, Pinotage On Tap is the perfect way to connect with friends and family, and enjoying a day under the Wellington sun surrounded by vineyards, laughter, and the unmistakable aroma of good wine.

We’ve decided to reward our loyal POT fans by putting a 2025 price fix in place until the end of January. This means that you can secure your seat at Pinotage on Tap 2026, at the 2025 prices! Christmas lunch at SMUL Restaurant

Join us at SMUL Restaurant on our farm in Wellington for a festive lunch filled with delicious food, good company, Christmas spirit, and true Boland hospitality.

Enjoy a complimentary glass of bubbly upon your arrival. Lunch starts at 12h30, with mains served at 13h00 – perfect timing to still accommodate a cheeky afternoon nap...

This amazing festive feast is offered at R750 pp for adults and R380 pp for kids under 12. We have special kids’ menu is available; including a cookie decorating kit and more.
