While only a select few wineries achieve scores above 95, Perdeberg Wines is delighted to have received outstanding results across its premium Chenin Blanc and Dry Land Collection wines, reaffirming its status as the Home of Chenin Blanc.
The Tim Atkin South Africa Special Report – A mark of excellence
The Tim Atkin South Africa Special Report is one of the most influential and respected international wine assessments. Compiled annually by British Master of Wine, Tim Atkin, the report provides a comprehensive overview of South African wines and celebrates the country’s top producers. Recognition in this prestigious report is not only a measure of international acclaim but also a reflection of consistent dedication to quality, terroir expression, and innovation.
Our awarded wines
Perdeberg received exceptional scores for four of its wines:
- 92 Points: Endura Single Vineyard Chenin Blanc and The Dry Land Collection Rossouw's Heritage
- 93 Points: Old Vine Project The Dry Land Collection Courageous Barrel Fermented Chenin Blanc and The Dry Land Collection Longevity Natural Sweet Chenin Blanc
These accolades highlight the skill of Perdeberg’s winemaking team and the unique character of its vineyards, where low-yielding bush vines and careful cellar craft create wines of distinction.
The home of Chenin Blanc
Perdeberg has long championed Chenin Blanc, harnessing the varietal’s versatility and depth to craft wines that stand proudly on the international stage. These latest results are a testament to our continued pursuit of excellence and reinforce our position as the Home of Chenin Blanc.
