Have you heard about Pebbles Project's Soap for Hope initiative?
In 2024, a small soap recycling factory was built on our grounds. Here, the local winelands charity launched their soap recycling project with support from Dow and the Diversey Soap for Hope initiative. The goal is simple: reduce hotel soap waste and empower disadvantaged young adults.
Hotels discard used soap bars that pile up in landfills. This project diverts 10 000kg of waste annually. Instead of being thrown away, soap bars are cleaned, grated, sanitized, and enriched with natural ingredients that result in a quality soap bar that boosts hygiene and reduces disease.
This initiative goes beyond recycling. Four young adults work in the factory, learning new skills and building a future. Their work creates job opportunities, lowers CO2 emissions, and supports a circular economy in a world facing a climate emergency.
Our efforts align with our commitment to environmental stewardship and community support. By reducing waste and creating opportunities, we nurture communities and safeguard the environment for future generations.

The United Nations celebrates Global Recycling Day in March every year, with the 2025 theme being #RecyclingHeroes. Join us in celebrating these heroes by purchasing a case of Pearls of Nectar NV or Tradition Brut NV Cap Classique and receive a free soap bar from Pebbles Project in honour of World Recycling Day.
Your purchase supports the Soap For Hope initiative and furthers their meaningful work for the good of the future.
