After a bustling festive season on Delheim Wine Estate in our tasting room and restaurant, we prepare for a magnificent harvest in the vineyards.
The cool summer and mild evenings are lengthening the ripening process, and we will be starting to pick grapes only by the beginning of February.
4 Ways to reconnect with nature at Delheim this year
Alien clearing on Delheim
We invite you to join us for our alien clearing sessions on Delheim every second Saturday of the month.
To sign up, send an email to events@delheim.com.
One of our volunteer alien hackers, Bregje van Weezel, writes:
"It was a hefty workout, all that sawing and lugging. Plus, it is a good exercise in trusting your children with razor-sharp blades. They never have to come home again saying that they want their food cut after I have seen them cut down entire trees."
Bird watching on the farm
Birding clubs, did you know you can book your next excursion with Delheim this year? For more details and to book, contact us via events@delheim.com.

Wine forecast 2025: This year, we're going big
One of South Africa's most iconic Bordeaux style blends, the Grand Reserve, celebrates its 40th vintage this year. Keep an eye out for when the 2021 vintage is released.
South Africa will be paying tribute to our proudly South African cultivar... It has been 100 years since Professor Izak Perold first created this magnificent cultivar, Pinotage! Delheim is proud to have produced Pinotage wines and Pinotage blends since the 1960s.
