Visit us this long weekend!

Alto Estate will be open for the entire long weekend, including Monday 17 June. Join us for a leisurely lunch, dinner or wine tasting experience outside on our deck or inside next to our fireplace, perfect for the colder winter days.

Our tasting room has a selection of wine tasting experiences to choose from including our biltong and wine pairing as well as our popular winter canapé and wine pairing. Our restaurant will be open for lunch from Friday 14 June to Monday 17 June, and for our renowned winter Italian nights on Friday 14 June.

Please note that we are fully booked for Father’s Day on Sunday 16 June.

New releases

We are excited to announce that our Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 and Cabernet Sauvignon Rosé 2024 is now available from our online shop and in our tasting room.

Cabernet Sauvignon 2019

Our Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 is a beautiful representation of a classic Stellenbosch Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine shows beautiful rich dark fruit, black-currant, notes of fynbos and a luxurious tannin structure.

This phenomenal wine was announced as a Top 10 wine in the Wing Mag Prescient Cabernet Sauvignon report and has been awarded 93 points by both Wine Advocate and Gilbert & Gaillard.

Cabernet Sauvignon Rosé 2024

Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, this wine has become known as summer in a glass for its freshness and delightful drinkability. Our Rosé has a beautiful onion-skin colour and exudes floral notes along with freshly crushed raspberries and hints of minerality. The palate has a beautiful complexity with an alluring creamy texture and a fresh acidity on the finish.

Winter Italian Nights

Our winter Italian nights are now available every Wednesday and Friday evening in our restaurant.

Choose from starters including Gnocchi Romano, Sundried tomato risotto balls or indulge in an anti-pasti platter. Our main course items include homemade beef ravioli served with an option of 2 sauces, prawn and chorizo risotto or Chef's surprise pasta, to end off with choose between a traditional Affogato or a rich and indulgent Tiramisu cheesecake.

Our menu consists of a 2-course option for R295 or a 3-course option for R375 per person.
