As the days grow shorter and the air turns crisp, we’re embracing the season with a brand-new offering designed to chase away the winter chills. Introducing the Seasonal Sips and Soups Tasting at Spier Wine Farm, a delightful journey of expertly curated pairings available from 1 May to 30 September at the tasting room.

This special winter escape features four thoughtfully paired elements, each celebrating the season's bounty. Indulge in four of our award-winning wines, each complemented by a delicious, farm-fresh bite.

Here's a sneak peek at the delicious pairings you can expect

Good Natured Sauvignon Blanc: This organic gem, reflecting our commitment to eco-conscious farming, pairs beautifully with a creamy pea velouté. The wine's crispness and clean finish complement the smooth texture and fresh flavours of the pea soup, topped with a dollop of whipped goat cheese and a crispy parmesan tuile.

21 Gables Chenin Blanc: Elevate the earthy depths of this Chenin Blanc with an earthy forest mushroom consommé. This rich and flavorful broth, bursting with sautéed mushrooms and a touch of truffle espuma, is the perfect match for the wine's complex character.

Seaward Chardonnay: Savour the elegant texture and vibrant acidity of our Seaward Chardonnay alongside a decadent Stilton velouté. This creamy cauliflower soup infused with Stilton Blue cheese finds its perfect partner in the wine. Served with a sable biscuit, fresh garden herbs, and a tangy pickled onion, it's a true winter indulgence.

First Stone Organic Red: End on a sweet note with a rich chocolate tart. This intense chocolate dessert, sprinkled with Maldon sea salt, pairs seamlessly with our award-winning First Stone Organic Red. The wine's robust character complements the richness of the chocolate, creating a satisfying and luxurious finish.
