Peter Falke Chardonnay 2022
Vinification and winemaker's notes
The grapes used to make the PF Chardonnay wines were harvested early in the morning at around 22˚C Balling. Following multiple de-stemming and selection processes, the wine was inoculated with 'D47' yeast and fermented in 225L third-fill (100%) French oak barrels for 8 months. The barrels were regularly rolled or stirred (battonage) to suspend the lees, enhancing complexity and integrating oak flavours for a silky mid-palate. Prior to bottling, the wine underwent protein and cold stabilization processes.
Tasting notes
Peter Falke Chardonnay 2022 is a refreshing and full-bodied white wine made of 100% Chardonnay grapes.
On the palate, layers of warm butterscotch, gentle vanilla and roasted almonds unfold, while the natural freshness follows through to a clean, creamy finish.
Pair this wine with creamy cheeses of your choice for a delightful tasting experience.
