wine.co.za is proud to announce a new partnership with Aspiring Logistics to warehouse and distribute our CellarDirect clients' wines directly to customers countrywide.
Aspiring Logistics will now store, pick, pack and deliver wines from participating wineries to customers throughout South Africa. The advantage of this is a much quicker and efficient fulfilment service. In most cases wines are shipped the day they are ordered thus bringing delivery times down to under two days in most areas of the country.
And customers are notified every step of the way through the fully integrated CellarDirect system.
This also allows us to bring down the cost of shipping for the customer as we no longer need to collect wines from far-flung wineries. We are hoping with this drop in national pricing to attract more customers as shipping costs are the primary cause of cart abandonment in South Africa.
This is also a great service for the smaller producers as CellarDirect can now offer a comprehensive set of services to handle all of the winery's requirements.
It also means less work by the winery as we process and fulfill all orders on their behalf.
