Harvesting of the 2024 vintage is in full swing and the excitement is palpable. Join us in celebrating the season at Steenberg Vineyards with these harvest-inspired experiences, available from now until the end of harvest.
This is a process guided by nature, therefore all offerings are subject to availability.
Grape and grape juice tasting at the Tasting Room
Taste the just-picked grapes of the day, as well as the freshly pressed juice. This offering is complimentary with your wine tasting.
Grape-inspired dishes at Bistro Sixteen82
Freshly picked grapes will be served at lunch at Bistro Sixteen82.
- Taste the freshly picked grapes served with your bread board at lunch
- Order the harvest-inspired dish of pickled grape and sumac labneh salad with quinoa, mange tout, red cabbage, sunflower seeds, raspberry and basil vinaigrette
- If you love seafood, order the ethically sourced fish with grain fritter, pickled grape salsa, dill vinaigrette and preserved lemon salsa
Tryn's mosbolletjie breadboards and harvest-inspired cocktail
Freshly picked grapes and traditional mosbolletjies will be served for lunch and dinner as part of your bread board.
A quenching harvest-inspired cocktail is featured on our menu to order and enjoy, made with gin and fresh grape juice, lifted with a fresh basil and lime juice hit.
