Simonsig Vintage Day 2023 - Jeanine

One of the highlights of the winter wine calendar is undoubtedly the Simonsig Vintage Day at Simonsig Wine Estate, Stellenbosch. Originally started some ten years ago by brothers Johan and Francois Malan, when the auditors requested that they "lighten up on the library stock," this annual showcase of Simonsig's older vintages has certainly built up a loyal following over the years.

The Stellenbosch Cabernet Collective's annual 'Cabernet Through the Ages' wine tasting event took place on the evening of Thursday 3 August 2023, during the Wine Town Stellenbosch week, at Waterford Estate, Stellenbosch. On Tuesday 8 August 2023, Kleine Zalze Wines hosted media, sommeliers and other wine enthusiasts for the launch of the latest release of their Project Z range. For the love of bread: A visit to the La Motte Bakery - Trudie

Imagine the smell of freshly baked bread on a Wednesday morning. Now add a freshly brewed cup of coffee and squirrels running around a beautiful garden setting. That is the magic of La Motte's Artisanal Bakery and Garden Café. If you've been driving to Franschhoek without stopping at La Motte to grab one of their famous breads or tempting patisseries, you have been missing out!
